My name is Macken. I am a native of Washington but I’ve lived all over the place. I come from a background in wildland firefighting and land conservation across the United States mainly west in Colorado, Montana, Oregon, and here in Washington. I’ve returned home to my roots to revitalize this land passed down from my grandparents. Through the small yield of dog sitting I’ve found a formula that heals both your pets and our land on some foundational principles of permaculture.

I am many things apart from a dog lover. I am a mountain athlete that does many things at an average level from ultra running to ski mountaineering. As active as I seem I do relax often by reading, writing, enjoying sports, working with the land, and being with my people.
